President and CEO
Keela Rose Shatzkin
Keela graduated from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration. She's been with Shatzkin Systems Inc., ever since! Keela has been responsible for workflow development, managing integration and technical operations and process and systems engineering. She has worked with Health Information Exchanges across the country in a variety of roles and brings expertise in patient identity management, data flows, data quality and operations and solving technical challenges with the tools available to the client. Keela took over Shatzkin Systems as president and CEO in 2023.
Keela loves volleyball and has coached athletes of all calibers for 15 years.
Founder
Nance Shatzkin
Nance is the founder of Shatzkin Systems. Nance is an Information Systems executive with over twenty years of varied and progressive experience in healthcare, publishing and retail. She is an innovative thinker and creative problem-solver with strong interpersonal, communications and analytic skills. Nance is adept at managing systems development and implementation within a wide range of technical environments. She is a successful interpreter for non-technical professionals and has experience in organizational issues and growth/integration challenges. Nance has had a leadership role in the development of policy and standards around health information exchange.
Nance moonlights as an activist for affordable housing, serving as the president of the Croton Housing Network for more than 20 years!

Robin Shaw
Robin originally envisioned her time at Shatzkin Systems as stepping stone to future endeavors- little did she know she’d love the work so much she’d stick around! Robin’s specialties include deep diving into healthcare data, standards and quality work. She oversees data integration operations as data quality programs for several clients. Robin is an integral part of the team and everyone loves to work with her.

John Scelzo
John joined Shatzkin Systems early in his career and adopted the Shatzkin System way with enthusiasm. He has become an expert at workflows and process management. He’s perhaps the most patient staff-person in the office and always welcomes new projects with a smile.

Sujatha Thalappillil
Sujatha joined Shatzkin Systems with robust IT project management experience. She’s been able to corral various project stakeholders to drive projects forward, providing clear and concise notes throughout. Sujatha thrives on exposing roadblocks and being able to break through them.

Danielle Craighead
Danielle joined Shatzkin Systems with extensive Health Information Exchange background in New York. Her experience with system integrations and go-lives has been an asset to Shatzkin Systems clients.

Moises Molina
Moises joined Shatzkin Systems as a data integration engineer with a focus on python. He was introduced to healthcare IT while working at a laboratory during the COVID-19 pandemic being a technical jack of all trades. He’s been able to focus his time at Shatzkin Systems on solving complex problems and expanding his python skills. He’s been able to fit right in on our team with his work ethic and positive outlook while tackling some of the most challenging problems.

Rachel Beyers
Rachel joined Shatzkin Systems as our Administrative Director. She comes from a delicious career as the owner of a successful pie shop, The Blue Stove. Her business smarts and experience have been a huge help to Shatzkin Systems and she’s really helping elevate our internal operations and procedures.

James Vuong
James joined Shatzkin Systems in late 2022 as a Project Manager with a focus on security management. He has experience in project management and health information management from his time at a large health system. He’s been steeped in IT security work since joining our team and we’re excited to see James continue to spread his wings.

Makenzie Adkins
Makenzie joined Shatzkin Systems as the Patient Data Integrity Coordinator. She has experience in data management from her time working in a medical laboratory (during COVID, no less!) and discovered her passion for improving and streamlining access to health information. She is excited to further her skills as a member of the team.

Cypress Dresselhaus
Cypress joined Shatzkin Systems as an ETL analyst. She was introduced to Healthcare IT during an internship experience where she played a pivotal role in initiatives aimed at improving the nation's health during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She is currently earning an M.S.C.S. from the University of Texas at Austin. When she's away from her desk, you can find her somewhere between the woods of Arkansas and the mountains of Namibia.

Brittany joined Shatzkin Systems with over 15 years of experience leading complex IT projects and programs across indsutries. A seasoned project manager and strategic problem solver, she excels at driving initiatives forward, streamlining operations, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned. With a background spanning startups, Fortune 100s, and global consulting, Brittany thrives on bringing structure to ambiguity and delivering results.

Samantha Valero
Samantha joined Shatzkin Systems as a Data Integration Analyst. She brings over 5 years of experience working in clinical data analysis, project management, and quality improvement initiatives for a behavioral health outpatient program. After earning her MBA from Carlow University in 2025, Samantha is excited to pair her new technical knowledge and work experience in this role. In her free time, Samantha is most likely watching the Chicago Cubs, spending time outside, or working on a craft (and on the best days, doing some combination of them all!).
